Sweet Sixteen

On Sunday, our team headed down to Temple University to watch the Sweet Sixteen games in the Philadelphia Region. The first game pitted UConn against Georgetown. Georgetown had a lead for the first two-thirds of the game or so, but UConn put together a nice run to close out the game. In the second game, Duke beat DePaul. At the beginning, it looked like it might be a Duke blow out, but DePaul battled back and kept it close, getting within 3 twice in the final minutes. We had a great time watching the games in person. I really enjoyed being with the team as a whole group, which doesn't happen as much in the off-season. Tonight's Elite Eight match up of Duke and UConn should be a good one!

March Madness Continues

I enjoyed watching some great games on TV last night and am really looking forward to the match ups tonight. The women's Sweet Sixteen begins tomorrow. Our team will see some action in person when we head to Temple on Sunday to watch UConn take on Georgetown and Duke play DePaul. Both should be great games. We are all looking forward to it. What a great basketball filled weekend!

Spring break is over and campus is buzzing again for the final 5 weeks of class. We have several different activities planned for our team as we finish the semester. Check back for updates!

Spring Break

This week will be quiet on campus with the vast majority of students gone for spring break. Most of our team is home relaxing this week - well deserved rest after working so hard this season. We won't take too long of a rest though, because we are all already looking forward to next year! We have a few fun things planned for our team this spring; we'll keep you posted!
